A Ruston man was arrested last Thursday after he allegedly trespassed on the Grambling State University campus with the intent to sell marijuana.

Calvin D. Baker,19, was arrested on October 10 for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and criminal trespass after a GSU police officer saw him acting suspiciously.

A police sergeant was driving past Knott Hall, a campus dormitory, when he saw a man standing on the second floor. When the man saw the police vehicle, he moved quickly away from the opening to conceal himself. The officer stopped and located Baker who said he was not a student.

Baker was asked if he had anything on him the officer should know about. He said yes. A bag of over 96 grams of suspected marijuana was found in his front pocket along with $114.00 in cash.

Baker was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. His bail was set at $6,000.
