More than a hundred marijuana plants were seized from a home in Meade County last week.The Meade County Sheriff’s Office said detectives received a tip on March 14 about a marijuana growing operation in the area.Detectives arrived at the home to execute a search warrant and said they found a “full operation” inside the home and barn.Police seized items used to grow and cultivate marijuana, along with 157 plants.One person was arrested.While medical marijuana is now legal in Kentucky, it is not legal for people to grow their own plants.
