MEATBALLS, lamb chops, marijuana, and a coat are amongst the items that police are holding onto as they hunt for their owner.
North Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal to find the owner of a coat – left behind after an incident of criminal damage.
It is thought to have happened at around 9.15pm last night (February 13) when a man damaged a fence whilst jumping over it to enter a backyard on Gale Lane, Acomb.

Whilst police are appealing for help in locating the owner, they said: “Of course, if the owner would like to collect his property in person – before we find him – he is very welcome to contact us.”
