OLD TOWN– A local medical cannabis business is running a promotion through next month to benefit the old town caring community cupboard.
Starting March 1, anyone who places an order with Carter’s Kind and donates one non-perishable food or hygiene item will receive a 10% discount off their order.
Carter’s Kind owner, Darren Orne, says he and his wife are running the promotion because he knows what it’s like to need a little extra support, and now that he’s doing better, he wants to give back to the community.
“Y’know, our company motto is ‘let’s heal together’. Cannabis is a very healing medicine so- y’know, it’s also important that we help heal our community as well,” says Orne.
