MASON CITY, Iowa – A Fort Dodge man is now facing multiple drug felonies after being stopped for a traffic violation in North Iowa.
Law enforcement says Alan Eugene Beier, 61, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Interstate 35 when he was pulled over around 8:45 pm Friday at mile marker 192 near Clear Lake. Investigators say 235 grams of methamphetamine, 82 grams of marijuana, and 10 grams of cocaine were found in Beier’s possession.
Beier was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on three controlled substance violations, three counts of failure to use a drug tax stamp, driving while license revoked, and OWI-3rd or subsequent offense.
Beier is being held in jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
