Nevis Brands (CSE:NEVI, OTCQB:PSCBF) has announced a licensing agreement with Stash House Distribution for the production and distribution of Major Hemp Derived THC Delta 9 (HD9) beverages across many territories in the United States.
This partnership marks a significant expansion for the Major brand, which will now be accessible to millions of consumers, previously available only in 11 states.
The hemp-derived THC beverages will comply with federal regulations under the Farm Bill, containing less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis, which allows distribution from a centralized location to areas where such products are not explicitly banned.
Major shots are now available for purchase through Stash House’s online platform, Goldfish, where it is currently the only HD9 beverage available.
The initial product lineup includes Blueberry, Fruit Punch, and Blackberry (TSX:BB) Lemonade flavors.
Nevis Brands CEO John Kueber described the milestone as a “seminal moment” for the Major brand.
“Major was previously only available only through dispensaries in 11 States. The development of our hemp derived THC products will make Major accessible to millions of consumers throughout the US and supports our strategy of making Major the #1 brand in the category,” Keuber said.
“It will allow the Major brand to become accessible to millions of potential customers. In addition to online sales, HD9 products are being adopted in traditional retail locations such as liquor stores and smoke shops, and we see an opportunity for tremendous growth.”
Kueber also expressed excitement about working with Stash House to build out the Major market footprint.
“The Goldfish internet retail store has already has generated thousands of HD9 customers for established products and we believe we are well positioned for success in both internet retail and wholesale markets,” he added.
