While several states – including both Dakotas, Arkansas and Nebraska – will have medical cannabis legalization initiatives on their ballots, the industry’s eyes are squarely on Florida, where Amendment 3 stands poised to legalize adult-use marijuana in November. According to the latest poll by Emerson College Polling and The Hill, 64% of likely voters plan to approve the measure, which requires 60% to vote. While that seems positive, other polls in recent weeks have the approval figure swinging back and forth across that threshold – and there are still seven weeks before election day.
