The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics confiscated thousands of marijuana plants from three locations across the Oklahoma City metro that were allegedly tied to the black market.

On Wednesday, OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams executed search warrants for a commercial marijuana manufacturer on Northwest Expressway near Rockwell Avenue, a home on Northwest 149th Street and a storage facility in Bethany. This was part of an investigation into illegal marijuana trafficking to the out-of-state black market, according to OBN.

Agents seized 8,623 plants and 350 pounds of processed marijuana, according to OBN.
The agency said arrests in the case were pending as the investigation continues.
OBN was assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Oklahoma City and Atlanta offices, the Oklahoma City Police Department and the District 1 Oklahoma County Commissioner’s Office.
