The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a fire at a medical marijuana facility. The Gorham Fire Department responded to a fire at a 20,000-square-foot facility at 7 County Road in Gorham on Friday afternoon. Officials say that two workers tried to put out the fire using chemical fire extinguishers. Firefighters finished putting out the flames. The two employees were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. In a press release shared Saturday morning, officials said their initial investigation indicates that the fire started when a broken lightbulb fell onto a plastic table.
