According to reports, officials seized 136 pounds of marijuana on October 3 during a traffic stop on I-40.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. — Troopers with the Arkansas State Police seized 136 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Pulaski County.

According to reports, on October 3, officials stopped a rented black 2024 Chrysler Pacifica on I-40 eastbound at the 159-mile marker for a traffic violation.

A search of the vehicle revealed five large trash bags filled with 136 pounds of individual vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana.

The driver, 34-year-old Hui Zhang of Flushing, NY was arrested and charged with felony possession with the purpose to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal use of property.

Zhang told investigators she was traveling from Oklahoma to South Carolina.
