[#item_full_content] Amid a ban set to take effect in March — and despite the lingering specter of federal prohibition — the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance (ORHA) is calling on Ohioans to press lawmakers to remove a component of the recently passed Senate Bill 56 that prohibits the sale of beverages made with hemp-derived THC.ORHA, the state’s primary restaurant and foodservice trade group, launched this campaign in the weeks following the passage of SB 56, which actually included a carve-out allowing for the sale of drinks made with hemp-derived THC until November 2026.
