PONTOTOC CO., Miss. (WLOX) – Monday afternoon, the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department announced that a traffic stop led to a large drug bust.

On Sunday, February 23, the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division Narcotics Unit conducted a daytime traffic stop on a vehicle near Sherman.

After searching the vehicle, officials discovered over 715 pounds of marijuana and over 26,500 marijuana-infused gummies.
