GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) – A Paducah man is in custody after a deputy discovers possession of drugs during a traffic stop.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, at around 2:15 a.m. on Friday, November 8, Deputy Tyler Crane saw a vehicle parked in the cemetery near the intersection of KY 131 and Kaler Mill Road.
Deputy Crane checked on the vehicle and discovered it was occupied by 61-year-old Alan D. Fleming of Paducah and a passenger.
While speaking with Fleming, Deputy Crane discovered evidence of illegal drug use. A search of the vehicle and Fleming’s person was conducted, and methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were located on Fleming’s person and in his vehicle.
Fleming claimed ownership of the items and was arrested for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense – Methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fleming was lodged at an out-of-county jail facility.
