BUFFALO, N.Y. — Six people now face charges after the Erie County Sheriff’s Office recently made a massive drug bust.
Overall, 300 pounds of illegal marijuana were seized, along with around $100,000 in cash. They also seized three illegal handguns, including a ghost gun.
“Countless hours of surveillance and investigative work led to search warrants being obtained for numerous addresses in the City of Buffalo,” Undersheriff William Cooley of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
The arrests are the results of a joint investigation from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the Buffalo and Lackawanna police departments, and the FBI.
The ages for the six people arrested range from 22 to 36 years old.
