Investigators say the incident involved three students, a 16-year-old, a 15-year- old and 18-year-old Brandarious Jenkins.According to school staff, Jenkins arrived at the nurse’s office displaying signs and symptoms of possible drug use.

He was transported by his parents to Bolivar General Hospital for further evaluation. Administrators and staff quickly identified the students involved in distributing the brownies.
Investigators say one juvenile admitted to selling brownies to students and claimed they were ordinary brownies falsely marketed as marijuana-laced to increase profits.
Police say field tests on brownies found in the backpacks of the juveniles returned positive results for THC and say Jenkins later confirmed he purchased a brownie from one of the juveniles.
He faces misdemeanor charges of simple possession of marijuana.
