INDIANAPOLIS — An 18-year-old male has been arrested following the execution of a search warrant at Perry Meridian High School.

According to a public IMPD police report, around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, officers served a search warrant at 401 West Meridian School Road. 

During the course of the search, police seized marijuana, six rounds of live 9mm ammunition and a .223 caliber semiautomatic rifle. 

An 18-year-old suspect was arrested on preliminary felony charges of dealing between 30 grams and 10 pounds of marijuana, unlawful carrying of a handgun on school property and possession of a firearm on school property.

It is unclear if the suspect is a student at the high school.
