Officers arrived at the house on Century Lodge in Farnworth, at just before 7am.
They entered through the side gate before ramming the rear door, finding the farm in an upstairs bedroom.
It was hidden behind a “fake wall”, with a “sophisticated” ventilation setup preventing the smell from emanating beyond the room.

A haul of around 20 to 25 plants were seized, totalling around £10,000 in street value.

Speaking about this morning’s seizure, Sergeant Jess Prudence said: “I am very happy, it is a good result and it is good for officers to get the warrant.
“We have disrupted criminal activity and are going to seize and destroy the cannabis.

Searches also found the electrical supply had been bypassed.
