INWOOD—A 29-year-old Sioux Falls, SD, man was arrested about 4:35 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, near Inwood on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana.
The arrest of Steven Robert Knape stemmed from the stop of a 2011 Chevrolet pickup clocked at 68 mph on Highway 182 north of Inwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
The odor of marijuana was detected coming from the pickup, and a search located marijuana in the vehicle, according to the incident report.
