The company emphasizes that hemp cat litter not only helps reduce the substantial 8 billion pounds of non-biodegradable cat litter currently sent to landfills annually but also supports better air quality. Unlike clay litter, which can release harmful dust particles, including silica linked to respiratory issues, hemp litter generates significantly less dust, safeguarding both pets and their owners.
Hemp farming is also highlighted for its environmental benefits; it absorbs 10 tons of CO2 per acre and naturally enhances soil quality through composting.
