SPRINGFIELD – The city is proposing changes to its 10-year-old ordinance regulating medical marijuana, saying it is too restrictive and doesn’t match the more relaxed adult-use cannabis rules.

The proposal is expected to be discussed by the City Council this month after receiving a 7-0 approval from the Planning Board on Wednesday.
