HOUSTON, Texas — A father has been arrested after allegedly giving THC-infused chocolate bars to his 9-year-old daughter, leading to her hospitalization, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 5.
Deputies from Constable Terry Allbritton’s office responded to a drug overdose call at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus.
The young girl was reportedly showing signs of intoxication after consuming the THC-laced edibles provided by her father. The father now faces charges of endangering a child, stated the constable’s office.
