Marijuana, mushroom trafficking operation
On Feb. 15, 2023, federal agents observed an alleged trafficker wheel parcels from the Salem warehouse into a dark blue Mercedes and deliver them to a U.S. Postal office, placing them on the commercial loading dock. A drug detection dog alerted to the odor of narcotics. A seizure of the packages revealed 1100 grams of marijuana edibles and 400 marijuana vapes. One of the boxes seized is above on right, according to prosecutors.
The drug trafficking operation processed and converted raw marijuana into butane hash oil, THC-packaged candy and cereal treats and vape cartridges.
