A Nebraska State Patrol trooper seized just under 30 pounds of marijuana in a Keith County traffic stop on Saturday.

According to a press release, a trooper stopped a Jeep Compass for speeding on Interstate 80. During the stop, the trooper smelled marijuana.
During a search of the vehicle, 29 pounds of marijuana were found in a black duffel bag.
The driver, Anthony Lewis, 27, and the passenger, Demitrius De Shun, 31, both of Lincoln, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of more than a pound of marijuana. Both were lodged in the Keith County Jail.
Also Saturday, troopers seized 33 pounds of cocaine in an I-80 traffic stop in Hamilton County.
Two New Jersey residents, Raquel Rocha 34, and Jonathan Cardenas, 45, face drug charges in connection to that stop.
