A 30-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were arrested Tuesday afternoon in the Palaio Faliro area of Athens for operating a fully equipped indoor cannabis cultivation laboratory, police said.
Officers responded to a reported break-in at a residence, where they discovered the grow operation, including cannabis plants and growing equipment. Three cannabis plants were seized at the scene.
The suspects were taken into custody and charged with drug-related offenses under Greek narcotics laws. Both individuals have been referred to a prosecutor.
