FARMINGTON, Maine (WABI) – Two New York men are facing charges after Farmington Police say they found 115 pounds of marijuana in their van.
The Sun Journal reports 53-year-old Jianlan Huang of Staten Island and 53-year-old Xuefeng Huang of Brookyln were inside the van that was pulled over for speeding on Fairbanks Road Monday.
US Customs and Border Protection was called to assist.
The paper reports a border patrol agent asked the men what was in the bags in the back of the van to which one of the men replied, “leaf.”
Each man is facing drug trafficking charges.
The two men are free on bail.
