Vermont Growers Association’s High Stakes fundraiser returns to The Barns at Lang Farm on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 6 to 10 PM for a casino night benefiting the Vermont Cannabis Industry Emergency Fund!
Last year’s High Stakes was a ton of fun to help close out the year as an industry with friends and for a good cause. Enjoy classic casino games such as roulette, craps, poker, and more, win locally-made prizes, live music by Julian Soberano of Sobe Beats, MC by Kris Brown of Cannasations w/ Kris, food, drinks, and more. We still have a couple of sponsorship opportunities available, and tickets are on sale now! Each ticket comes with starter chips, and more chips are available for purchase at the event. The Vermont Cannabis Industry Fund (VCIEF) is a permanent relief fund for Vermont-licensed cannabis farms and businesses impacted by natural and unnatural disasters – a collective action initiative for the industry, by the industry. To date, the VCIEF emergency fund has awarded over $20,000 to nine grantees. Each VCIEF grant recipient is a local cannabis farm or business ineligible for federal relief during a disaster, and we need your support to continue providing relief for fellow licensees during times of need.
