Voorheesville, NY — A woman from the Town of Westerlo has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after reportedly selling concentrated cannabis to minors at a local high school.

Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple, Sr. reported that on January 31, 2025, members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office responded to Voorheesville High School following a report of an individual selling concentrated cannabis on school grounds.

Following an investigation officials report Skylyn Fryer drove to the school and sold concentrated cannabis to minors.

Minors were found inside the school with seven pens containing concentrated cannabis.

Fryer was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of unlawful sale of cannabis, a violation.

She was arrested and issued appearance tickets to return to New Scotland Town Court on February 6, 2025.

Additionally, Fryer was issued a trespass affidavit to stay away from the Voorheesville School District.
