Delaware is in the process of granting licenses to prepare for a legal marijuana business.
Under the Delaware Marijuana Control Act of 2023, the Office of Marijuana Commissioner was established to develop the framework under which adults could recreationally use marijuana.
This month, manufacturing licenses have been awarded, and retail- and testing licenses are expected to be granted in early 2025. Recently, 529 applicants were part of the OMC’s lottery, for a total of 15 retail licenses statewide.
The office released their names December 23rd.
