WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) -A man has been arrested after Wilmington police found marijuana in his car.
Officers with the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) noticed a black vehicle with a heavy window tint at Wrightsville Avenue around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5. Police initiated a traffic stop and found marijuana as well as packaging material, money, and scales.
The driver, 34-year-old Arturo Ervin of Charlotte, was charged with the following:
Possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver (PWIMSD) marijuanaPWIMSD schedule VI controlled substancesPossession of marijuana paraphernaliaMaintain vehicle/dwelling for controlled substancesM/S/D/P controlled substance within 1,000 feet of parkPossession of schedule VI controlled substancesPossession of more than 1.5 ounce, up to 1.5 ounces, of marijuanaWindow tinting violation
He is being held under a $125,000 secured bond at the NHSO Detention Center.
