HALL COUNTY, Ga. (WKRC) – A woman was accused of of giving marijuana to a toddler who was placed in her care.
According to WAGA-TV, 24-year-old Brooke Morgan Bestpitch of Alto, Georgia is facing felony charges after authorities allegedly discovered disturbing photos and videos involving a child in her care.

An investigation was first launched intoBestpitch by authorities in Habersham County, Georgia, but the investigation was later turned over to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office on December 18, 2024 after police learned that the alleged abuse occurred at a residence in Hall County, Georgia, per the outlet.
Bestpitch was arrested on February 6 after authorities determined that she had given the child a joint and allowed him to smoke, WAGA-TV reported. She was taken to the Hall County Jail on a charge of reckless conduct, and released the following day after she posted a $1,300 bond, per the station.
Investigators were able to obtain search warrants for Bestpitch’s phones and Snapchat account, and allegedly discovered disturbing video and photo evidence of additional abuse, WAGA-TV reported.

WAGA-TV reported that the 24-year-old was located at her home on April 11 and arrested on a charge of child cruelty (1st degree). She was released from jail the next day after posting a $11,200 bond, per the station.
It remains unclear if the child involved is a relative or a child who had been placed in her care. There was no word on if the toddler suffered any injuries.
