LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky’s fastest-growing hemp brand is an official partner with Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC for the 2025 season.
Cornbread Hemp is the first brand partnership in the hemp category for professional soccer clubs in Kentucky, according to a news release Wednesday.
“This partnership isn’t just a first for Cornbread; it’s a milestone for the hemp industry,” Eric Zipperle, CEO of Cornbread Hemp, said in a news release. “To be the first hemp brand welcomed into professional soccer teams in Kentucky is a powerful sign of how far we’ve come in terms of growing acceptance of THC in wellness and athletics. We’re proud to represent Kentucky in this cultural shift.”
Cornbread Hemp will be activated during select matches, starting with Racing Louisville’s match May 9.
According to a news release, fans can stop by the Cornbread Hemp booth outside the stadium entrance on the north concourse Friday. Cornbread Hemp will also be on-site for Louisville City FC’s match Aug. 9.
