[#item_full_content] GERBER, Calif. — A 35-year-old man was arrested after investigators found 210 pounds of marijuana and methamphetamine at two homes in Gerber, according to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office.Antonio Esquivel was booked into the Tehama County Jail on Saturday on charges including possession of marijuana for sale, maintaining a place for drug sales, possession of methamphetamine, and felony child endangerment. A federal probation warrant was also issued for Esquivel.The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division spent several months investigating suspicious activity at the two homes. The investigation identified Esquivel as living at one home and being connected to a second home in the area.On Saturday, the sheriff’s office conducted probation searches at both locations. Much of the marijuana was allegedly packaged in 1-pound bags consistent with possession for sale.Investigators also reported finding 6.85 grams of methamphetamine and $24,137 in cash. Evidence of previous indoor marijuana cultivation was located at the second home.The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit handled the investigation with the TCSO Patrol Division and assistance from Federal Probation.
