[#item_full_content] [[{“value”:”Shelby police seized suspected marijuana plants while executing a search warrant at a West Main Street address, authorities report.
The search warrant was executed on Oct. 7 and had been signed by Shelby Municipal Court Judge Sheree Studer, the Shelby police report said.
“The search warrant was then executed by the listed officers at the listed location for a violation of Ohio’s Home grow Law and Cultivating Marijuana,” the report states.
The suspected marijuana plants were seized by Shelby PD and retained as evidence.
The plants will be forwarded to a crime laboratory for analysis, the report said. Upon analysis, the case will be presented to the prosecutor’s office for consideration of charges, police said.
Police were dispatched at 7:45 a.m., arrived at 7:54 a.m. and cleared the scene at 8:48 a.m.
