[#item_full_content] Hemp industry advocates are celebrating the inclusion of pro-hemp language in a recent White House letter to Congress regarding a supplemental budget request. The letter, which centers on an $87.6 billion request largely for funding the Iran war, also has a section on hemp that calls on lawmakers to revise Federal regulation of hemp “in a manner consistent with Amendment #54 offered to H.R. 8646.” Amendment 54, or the Lawful Hemp Protection Act, is a bipartisan amendment proposed by Rep.
