EAST POINT, Ga. – Police say they found multiple drugs and a gun inside a home while searching for a murder suspect.
On April 15, the Special Operations Unit with the East Point Police Department assisted the FBI in the search for the suspect.
During the search, authorities found about 17 pounds of marijuana, 3,300 grams of promethazine with codeine, and a Draco pistol.
The FBI Atlanta said in a statement that the person wanted for murder was not located, and details on the murder case and the identity of the murder suspect were not released since the “subject is still at large.”
In a Facebook post, East Point officers say they want residents to know, “WE OUT HERE.”
